Madrid has excellent overall accessibility - emphasize public transit and museums. Partner with accessible flamenco venues (verify specific theaters). Verify current museum free hours - change periodically. La Latina tapas accessibility varies by bar - create vetted list. Consider adding Segovia (Roman aqueduct, accessible) or El Escorial (monastery-palace, accessibility mixed) as day trips. Prado recently improved accessibility. Rastro market Sunday mornings - accessible main streets but crowded. Update restaurant accessibility. Real Madrid stadium tour (Bernabéu) accessible - add for football fans.

Madrid keeps very late hours - restaurants don't really open for dinner until 8:30pm, shows start at 10pm or later. Can be exhausting for those used to earlier schedules. Summer extremely hot (35-40°C / 95-104°F) - not ideal for heat-sensitive travelers. Air quality can be poor in summer. Pickpockets active in tourist areas and metro - stay vigilant. Smoking still common in outdoor restaurant areas. Some tapas bars standing-room only or have limited seating. August many restaurants closed (locals vacation).
